Halifa was born and raised in the northern part of Tanzania. Home to the tallest mountain in Africa Kilimanjaro. Having more than 35 years in the tourism industry his experience has contributed massively to the growth of this industry. He started working in tourism when Tanzania started to see a bright future in it. He travelled to many parts of East Africa and worked with different famous safari companies. These include State Travel Service, Abercombie & Kent, Ranger Safaris, Nomad Safari Guide, and Nomad Tanzania.
Furthermore worked in the mining industry too. However, his Enthusiasm for wildlife conservation led him to embark to seek knowledge, and professionalism, which led him to an establishment of a company ( Mili Adventure Africa) that will make it different from others.
However, he has also worked as a car body converter from standard to extended safari Land cruiser in Arusha town. He is mainly in charge of sales and has plenty of responsibilities on his shoulders. From the management team in marketing, preparation of packages from the basic budget to high-end profile safaris. He has travelled to most of the famous parks, beach attractions, and historical sites in Tanzania.
