Car rentals

Book reliable and affordable 4×4 cars! Most of our 4×4 cars are equipped with camping equipment for 2 to 4/5/7 seaters. The most commonly used 4×4 cars are the Suzuki Escudo for 2 or 4 seaters, the Land cruiser. These cars are reliable, spacious and strong enough to drive long distances off-road. However, our vehicles are serviced at our workshop in Arusha-Tanzania, after every self-drive trip.  In case of a mechanical problem, we rely on a close network of upcountry workshops for minor onsite repairs. In the event that you have a breakdown, rest assured that we offer 24/7 roadside assistance.

Travel to Serengeti National Park

The most popular way to travel to Serengeti is by road.  As it will take approximately nine hours of travelling from Arusha to the Serengeti National Park, an overnight stay at one or more wildlife sites en route is usually part of the safari itinerary. Passing the main road running through Ngorongoro to Naabi Hill Gate, the first Serengeti entrance then proceed to central Serengeti ”Seronera”.  Driving in Serengeti is a bit challenging due to its rocky surface with washboard ribbons.  With either a 4WD Suzuki Escudo or a Land cruiser driving on this notorious road is possible. Driving is limited to a speed of 25 km/h, otherwise, you will lose control instantly, with a single-vehicle rollover. For more details regarding Serengeti read  Driving in the Serengeti!
