How to book public campsite
Is it possible to a public campsite? Booking a public campsite is simple compared to a special campsite. For all public campsites, no need for booking in advance. Booking can be done at the gate entry. There are several public campsites in every national park. You will always be assigned a campsite when you arrive at the entrance. However, for Ngorongoro and Lake Natron, it works a bit differently if you opt to stay inside the park. You need to obtain a segregation quote first before you can get to the gate for the park entrance. On the reservation quote, you have to mention the campsite where you will be staying.

What is special camp site? How to book special campsite? Special campsites simply mean that the camps are for exclusive use only, with generally no facilities. Special camp site are designed for self-sufficient safari traveler who bring everything that they would basically need on a camping safari with them. Most of the spacial campsite are large, but few of them are specifically designed for small groups of back-packers. If you will prefer staying in special campsite instead, we advise you to spend some time in Arusha before your safari. Visit WMA head office and Ngorongoro office in Arusha for some details, and try to secure a spot. There is no possibility to organize the special campsite permit online, however Mili Adventure Africa will assist you in booking, apart from keeping the information on how to do it yourself.
