- Lake Natron. Soda lake in the northern circuit, located in Arusha. Its the most important breeding site for lesser flamingos in the world. 1.5-2.5 million lesser flamingos, representing three-quarters of the world population are found in East-Africa and most of them are hatched at Lake Natron.
- Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is a must for anyone wanting to go on a self-drive safari in Tanzania, where you can see the annual migration of a hundred thousand zebras and over a million wildebeest. Whilst on a self-drive I the popular southern plains, you will be overwhelmed by never-ending flat seas of grass. The Seronera Valley is the heart of the park, where lions and leopards are often spotted.

- Katavi National Park. Katavi national park is the third-largest national park in Tanzania. If you are lucky to visit Katavi on self-drive in the dry season- June to October is by far the best time to see animals. You will enjoy game watching and game drive.
- Lake Victoria. Lake Victoria is Africa’s largest lake. Named by British explore John Hanning Speke, the first European to find the lake in the 1850s during his expedition to find the source of the river Nile. Lake is considered to be the main contributor to the ‘Nile River’.
- Selous Game Reserve. The largest game reserve by far in Africa and also is bigger than Switzerland. Selous National Park has many diverse habitats and land made up of a mixture of Miombo woodlands, rolling hills, Savannah, rocky outcrops, swamps, lakes, and rivers. Rufiji rive, the largest river in Tanzania, and lake lagoons play a vital role in the ecosystem. When visiting Selous for a self-drive, use the northern part which thrives with wildlife. The large concentration of buffaloes, hippos, wildebeest, zebra, crocodiles are all found here. Selous is home to almost 3000-4000 lions and considered to have half of the Tanzania elephant population within its boundaries. The reserve offers a variety of self-drive adventures for tourists to choose from.
